So my dog woke me up at 3AM this morning coughing and wheezing like an old lady. It was seriously like she just inhaled some water somehow and was choking on it. I was a little concerned:

A) Damnit I let the dog health insurance expire after she got her last round of shots.
B) As a full grown English Mastiff she weighs about 10 LBS less than me, so if she keeled over there was no way I could drag her to the car to go to the vet.

But she got over it and crawled up on the bed with me like, "Mommy, can I sleep with you?". Awwww...  Anyway, she's fine but she's all snotty today. I think she has, like, dog flu or something.
